About Me: Despite the flag, I am not actually Belgian--Belgium is where I live, but I hail from America. I love both countries and the people of each! I miss extra sharp cheddar cheese, great pizza quality, chain restaurants, 24-hour stores, the English language, and my parents while I am over here, but I love the cherry beer and violet chocolates and ancient buildings and socialized health care/education! I am studying psychology in Dutch; my language year was awesome, I met people from all over the world (Mexico, Germany, Turkey, Lebanon, Iraq, Norway, Cameron, Nigeria, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, China, Ireland--there was even one other American girl!) and the experience was unforgettable. I have really learned to appreciate the world, and how similar human beings are in our hearts.
