Quicksmasher, no where in my first post did I say that there will be a lack of single player / RPG style gameplay. This is still a Castaway game, and as mentioned in my first post, will still encompass features from the series.

And I know that it is considered illegal but in Australia they had a great big fuss all over people under 13 on Facebook and it was on the news. And I've got a friend who has lost their friend because he let out to many info out on Facebook.

- We will be most likely going with a turn based battle system (similar to Ultimate Tactics, Final Fantasy Tactics, etc). This allows the player time to strategically and plan out their moves. This also allows the user to control their pet's attacks/abilities/movement in battle similar to pokemon.
That would be amazing. I know that there are many people who hate games that test your 'reflexes' and make you mash buttons while walking left or right. Those people are mostly casual gamers (the majority of Face Book users.) So if you do decide to implement that feature, I think it'd benefit the game greatly.

Oh plz. I didn't notice it was going to be on facebook. Likwid please save me. I am 15 years old, and yet I play games, that is a fact. But I don't want to need 100 friends in order to be the best at the game. Come on, that is a common feature to facebook games, but that annoys me a lot because nobody else I know plays that kind of stuff, and I feel kind of "ashamed"(if that is the right word, because you can never trust google tradutor) to post gaming stuff on my page. I have over 200 people from my school, and they will be starring at me at the corridors like..."is that the strange guy from facebook?" Please please pleeeease Let the ones without friends get the same chances to be good as the ones that have.

Ok first of all, your english is great, my friend. And if you don't want people on fb making fun of you for playing Castaway Online, then just make an account soley for playing the game, so you don't get caught! Do whatever you want though, You don't have to do this

What I meant though, besides that, is that (have you ever played farmville?) some games are more rewarding for people that trade gifts between themselves, and I would be one of those people I hate that keep sending game solicitations. Am i clear? I thinks this is kinda hard to explain... You know, give someone a blue bird of happiness and they level up, but no friend of mine wants to play. I think that is unnecessary, because it makes playing hard for players like me.

Basically this is something I'm afraid of too.
Ok, as I said, I'm new too social network games, but I just dislike some "general charakteristics" of them.
MANY don't seem to have even a Singleplayer, and they're often digging fame through their friends system and stuff (invite a friend: Bonus, advertise: Bonus, etc etc.)
But I'm confident Likwid will develop Castaway Online aiming to become something unique in that aspect
