easy way to kill him is to use widow's claw thats how i did it

i just used the lightning trap and then i attacked him from the back(i used razor sword)

i didnt defeatedv him.. but i got 10000 magic so.. i once played the hacked version . but these saved files where also used on likwid XD. so

You do know that he is immune to magic, it says so on the quest.

The most easiest way to kill any boss is to use Thunder Dome on them. If you have a decent amount of magic you should be able to kill every single boss in one hit except Vulcan.
Also if you don't want to use magic what you can do is use sword strike then shield bash to stun him for a few, then use the spin attack and keep attack him and using shield bash to stun him. Doing this it only took me around 20 seconds

 hes immune to magic *dies* im like pure magic power i am soooo dead i can only hit a 1 on the gila monsters and im lv 25 >.<
