Here are a few I found:

• 1 x Sapphire Shard + 1 x Alkahest = Sapphire Darts
• 1 x Ruby Shard + 1 x Alkahest = Ruby Darts
• 1 x Emerald Shard + 1 x Alkahest = Emerald Darts

Found by others:

• 1 x Iron Ore + 1 x Hide = SHANK
• 3 x Shell + 3 x Hide = BEETLE SHIELD
• 3 x Iron Ore + 3 x Iron Ore = IRON INGOT
• 3 x Hide + 3 x Hide = LEATHER
• 3 x Shell + 3 x Shell = PLATE
• 3 x Wood + 3 x Wood = TIMBER
• 3 x Teras Berry + 1 x Empty Bottle = Small Berry Potion
• 6 x Teras Berry + 1 x Empty Bottle = Medium Berry Potion
• 12 x Teras Berry + 1 x Empty Bottle = Large Berry Potion
• 3 x Healing Herb + 1 x Empty Bottle = Small Health Potion
• 6 x Healing Herb + 1 x Empty Bottle = Medium Health Potion

And Mike, I would also like to suggest (if you have time), that the contributions we make, add them on to your first post as well. Has anyone found any use for timber, Iron ingots, leather, or plates yet?

1 wooden shield + 1 iron ingot = round shield

I maybe new but i've been stuck playing it for a while and i got some combos.
gold ore+ Alkarest= gold shuriken
timber= iron ingot= nail bat
Nail bat+ Iron globe= Vindicator
3 saphire shard+ 3 saphire shard= saphire (same thing with rubys and emeralds
Pierce+ emerald globe= Dartanian
Sximitar+ Saphire globe= Titan Scimitar
Falcata+ Ruby globe= Widow claw
3 saphire (ruby or emerald) + Alkarest= (Saphire, ruby or Emerald, depending on what gem you used) globe
Plate x3+ Alkarest = solid plate
leatherx3 +Alkarest=treated leather
round shield+ warriors memento= Warrior shield(only able to combine in the forge of nymphs
Warrior shield+ Iron globe= blast shield

thats what i know for now, oh and don't worry about combining, you won't lose any materials if you fail to combine something.

1 wood sword + 1 or 3 iron globe( sorry i forgot) = dragonslayer sword

3 leather + Alkarest= Treated Leather
3 plate + Alkarest= Solid Scale
I'm assuming 3 Lumber + Alkarest = better lumber

i dont think its called better lumber....

Well neither do I but I haven't found that much wood yet so that is what I'm calling it
