that is a good topic and I dont even know what the plates do all I do keep it in my bag the whole time and most of the time I just sell most of them at the shop in town and what you do whith gold is you make gold throwing stars out of it and its part of a two quests for one for making them and quest two is for throwing them and you get money for itand if you cant go out and find it get some money and buy it from a store;)

ummm im not sure years ago i played the game and there was this over powered combo that had to do with plates and some thing else but i don't know what
