i have an answer for alex if he reads this again in the bible and most religion it took GOD(S) time seven more or less days to create everything now i know thats sounds odd but how do mortal beings such as ourselves compare our understanding of time to a being that can essentially create time so evolution could have been nothing more than trail and error thus fossils

I'm surprised that someone tried to answer this but everything that has been said has been said many times before. Ya sure u have a point that time could be different from us to an all power full god but really. Unless you can come up with something that would actually stand in a debate you're wasting time.

That's why I stopped commenting on this, there isn't anyone here that can come up with any evidence to support what they are saying. I would have a better time debating a Geocentrists. (someone who thinks the earth is the center of the universe when they have no evidence at all to support this claim)

I'm going to direct this first bit at (thing11th, I just spent the last 40 minutes reading through this entire post to see what evidence you have given me seeing as how it's been months and guess what....

There isn't any, and if you read through it you will see that. Although there were some posts made that stood out to me all they did was bring up questions that have answers.

1st Nick117 said that god gave us free will and the world is not perfect because it would be boring. The problem with this free will thing is that you're god is all knowing, so everything we will ever think or know is predetermined. So.... that means we do not actually have free will, unless god is not all knowing and he is just guessing at what's really going on (but that wouldn't be very god like would it). On the other hand the world being perfect is interesting, that would mean that god is able to tell the difference between perfect and imperfect.

But what is perfect you may ask, well it must be god because he is perfect......
If god is perfect then how would he be able to create something that is imperfect, it would be against his nature, and if we are in his image that must mean that we and everything that exists is perfect. So with that said the world must be perfect and we can't tell the difference because we are perfect and that is all we know.

2nd YngwieOfDoom you said that believing in god is hard, but continuing to believe in god is even harder. I have a simple answer to this, if it it so hard it is because you are constantly at war in you're own mind. The belief of god vs logic and simple reasoning. You have probably been told this but in order to believe in god you must dumb yourself down and reject logical reasoning. God is not logical and that's why people are not coming up with new religions today. We have understandings of the universe that were not available to use thousands of years ago. It makes sense for ancient cultures to assume that something or someone is responsible for creating us but we have and understanding that our ancestors didn't, god is not needed. Oh and just because you don't understand something doesn't mean that it was done by some all powerful being.

3rd something that doesn't quite make sense is what likwidgamer905 said awhile back. She said that it is the demons inside us that make us do bad things, and god created us so he must care and love us.

If god really cared for use why would he let demons cloud our judgment and effectively take away our free will, but then again we may not even have free will and these so called demons are just the side of us we don't show others. If you don't understand what I mean I'm saying that all humans are two faced lying creatures. We all have a side that we don't show others and that really can't be argued against. The other thought that if god created us he must care for us and love us that is flawed, by that logic any parent must love their children no matter what and we all know that is not true.

4th back to thing11th, we do not need god to know the difference between right and wrong, right and wrong are just collective opinions n a topic. I'll give you an example. Say your at the mall and you see a man walking past a red cross donation booth, he stops looks them up and down and wait for them to say something. The women realizing he is just going to stand there asks if he wants to make a donation. He replies with "ya right, why would I make a donation when I wont get anything in return" and then he storms off. Then you see the woman start to cry because he startled her so much and who know's maybe someone she knows has a child who is in the hospital. You don't know what to do so you leave when someone starts to comfort her. you then see that same man at another store and he drops a 20 without noticing and leaves.

That's not the best example but it makes my point. You can either take the money back to the red cross and donate it, you can keep it for yourself, or you could give it back to the man. You don't know why the man was so rude but he was. Most people will say I should donate this money, but that's where the 2 faced lying comes in, many people will actually keep the money. But is it the right thing to do?

The last thing I can say it that it seems many people here do not even understand the big bang theory, it may not be perfect and it is only one theory but there is evidence to support it.

We do have free will, and the way I think of it God sees different outcomes when we make choices; the bad choices and the good choices. Say if you see a kid getting beaten up by a couple of bullies and you have a few choices; join in (Or encourage the bullies or even beat the kid), walk away like you didn't even see it or break it up ( make the bullies go away or get a adult). God can see, but cannot change our lives. But he can make changes to the earth, like Noah's ark with the flood and everything.

I think believing God is hard if you're not brought up in a christian family, but continuing to believe is easy. And its not logical to believe that one big bang started the universe and everyone just evolved from apes. And where did all the rock come from that made the "big bang" and how did the apes come to be on the earth and how did they evolve into humans? That's silly. And loads of places that the bible have in it are real places on earth.


I really don't think that there are demons in peoples heads. But some people think it is possible (it might be) but if I believed that could happen I would think that the only way for that to happen would be to be exposing you're self to things like doing that board thing where people contact the dead peoples. But to cure that you would have to accept Jesus. And God cannot control our life just like a parent can't stop their kid, when they grow up, from doing bad things.

I know you don't need to know God to know the difference from right and wrong, there are loads of non-Christians that know the difference.
And that's a great example! If I came upon that situation I would really want to give it to the red cross, but it's not my money to give, so I'd give it back to the person but not before I tell him about himself, hes a idiot and make him say sorry. What I said to that man wasn't nice but, hey I'm not perfect and not good all the time. I would give $20 from my wallet to the red cross person though.

And there's nearly next to no evidence to support the big bang theory.
